STEMculture Podcast [Intro music]

Dani
STEMculture Podcast is focused on improving the culture of STEM by discussing topics that affect graduate students, postdocs, early career researchers, and beyond. We wanted to demystify STEMculture and highlight stories of perseverance and persistence in STEM.

Will
We choose a topic and do three episodes on it. Season One had three series called culture, work life balance, and how to publish. Moncie

We’ve had experience navigating gender based discrimination and sexual harassment, neurodiversity, mental health, grief, terrible advisors, good advisors, accepted papers, rejected manuscripts, rejected fellowships…

Zach
We are on all the podcasting platforms, please subscribe so you never miss an episode. You can also find STEMculture Podcast at STEMculturepodcast.com or on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram as STEMculture one word Podcast.

Brooke
…successful NSF GRFP applications, professional development, science communication, and STEM employment outside of academia. But most of all, we care deeply about graduate students and people pursuing STEM careers and we want to help making all things better.
